The Story…..
Before we get to my story, we must first understand the meaning of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is the science of life and is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge).
Early 2020, I started to notice excessive hair loss. I was saddened and anxious at the same time, which of course exacerbated the problem. I had made no changes to my diet or exercise regimen. Clumps of hair were everywhere, in the shower, on my towel, clothes and sometimes I also found hair on the kitchen floor and one day in my food. That was it!! I was not going to sit and do nothing.
Growing up in India, I was surrounded by people who practiced alternative medicine, i.e., Ayurveda and Homeopathy, sometimes home grown, organic solutions. I think, every culture has some of these traditional approaches in place to resolve non-life-threatening issues. In my situation, I did contemplate visiting a homeopathic consultant and treatment. Then again, given my history with my childhood friend, now expert, and her miraculous easy to follow treatments, I turned to her, even though she currently lives thousands of miles away, in a different continent! She’s my personal hair care advisor and expert! The next thing I did, was call Simi Anthony Marcos! A few years ago, I reached out to Simi for home remedies for “hair growth” (not “hair loss”!). Her Ayurvedic remedy worked wonders then, why wouldn’t it this time, albeit for a slightly different issue? Simi is originally from Kerela, India, the mecca of Ayurvedic treatments in the world. People all over the world spend thousands of dollars to fly to Kerela, India, for treatments. And here, I have a friend, who brings Kerela’s Ayurvedic treatments to me! What a blessing?! So now, I am not only admiring her locks, I have some of my own! Youthful and beautiful! Simi works with top Spas in her country of residence and her treatments are highly acclaimed. Imagine getting all those time tested benefits locally, in the USA. I mean a mask made with locally grown or available products, half of them you have in the kitchen, anyways!
I followed Simi’s rather easy to follow directions and made my first batch of the mask at home, right here, in the USA! All ingredients were either from my own backyard or were from the local grocery store. It was just putting it together in the right proportions and applying. Just as she advised, I applied it for 21 days, uninterrupted. The Ayurvedic treatment I underwent brought back my tresses. The secret is out and am willing to share her remedy with anyone who wishes to try and stop hair fall.
